loved the location of the hotel! my family and I enjoyed waking up and taking walks to the sea. the dining room had a beaut view too, and it was nice that they gave us a window view table. the room felt light and big, and the shower was spacious and clean. breakfast was great with really friendly staff.

the bathroom was a bit dated and could use some updates. also, I wish the TV was bigger, it was really small.

The place has stunning sea views and offers fantastic local seafood dishes. Service can be slow during peak hours. I enjoyed playing billiards at the bar while listening to live music, adding a lot to the atmosphere.

my wife and i couldn’t fault cove bay hotel! they even saved us a hot meal after we arrived late due to thunderstorms, super helpful staff everywhere. the lady running the bar was a gem, told us the best routes and lunch spots. had some evenings meals there and they were all excellently cooked. An amazing breakfast served by a friendly lady. bonus points for 4 days of hot sunny weather!

My solo stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The seafood lunch offered at the on-site restaurant was outstanding—especially the salmon and scallop en croute! Friendly staff added to the charm. Recommend reserving a room with a sea view for those stunning sunrises.

It was just an excellent fit for a momentary visit in Aberdeen with good value considering the price it charged. The food and service at dinner were great and made for a relaxed evening. Just double-check your bill before leaving to avoid any awkward misunderstandings.
